 Atomic Lounge for Disorient

Description:
Six circular inflatable structures used as giant lights set around a circle of zero-gravity chairs sitting about 30.

Each bubble:
Overall dimensions (feet): 20 x 20
Material: 4 mil white opaque plastic
Assembly time (estimated): 2 hours



There is no access inside the bubbles. The entire installation is 100 x 100 feet.

Bubbles are used as reflectors for inside or outside light sources. The bubble as reflector was succesfully tested for the Mothership. Light effects on each bubble could include:
- strobe light,
- video projected from outside with projectors hanging from the ceiling,
- multicolor led panel sequenced by Leo allowing dimm and strobe effects.

In order to have a clean and safe floor it would be nice to hang the cables (electrical, audio and video) from the ceiling. In this configuration the fan would connect to the top of each bubble.



There will be a progression over the three-day period.
First day: White sequenced lights only.
Second day: White and colored sequenced lights.
Last day: White, colored sequenced lights and smoke machine inside the circle of zero-gravity chairs.
